Mystery Mother and Daughter

This is a scan of a ambrotype portrait of a unknown mother and daughter. They might be members of ┬áTexie’s family, the Zinks. To create an ambrotype, a positive image is processed onto a plate of glass, which is then backed with a black material. This picture was backed with a velvet like material, as can be seen. The ambrotype was popular from 1850 to about 1865. IF YOU KNOW WHO THESE PEOPLE ARE, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT.
